On a'school holiday,Damayanti and her classmates went toBali.Their first destination was Tanah Lot beach.After afew hours enjoying the beautiful seawaves,they all went straight to Denpasar.They wanted to spend a night there.
The next mornig,they left for Besakih,the holiest site for the Balinese on the slope of Mount Agung.Along the way toBesakih, they could enjoy the beautiful scenery.
At 11.00 a.m. they stepped their feet at the Besakih bus terminal. Shortly afterwards, they climbed up the temple.
"It's one of the most wonderful temples I have ever seen", Damayanti said.
In the afternoon they went to Kuta beach,the most beautiful beach in Bali.It was very famous allover the world. They wanted to spend the afternoon there to enjoy the beauty of sunset.
While Damayanti was waiting for the sunset,Deddy was approaching a foreign tourist sitting on the sand.
"Excuse me, Mam. May I take your picture forme?" Deddy asked her.
"Do it please," the tourist replied.
Deddy turned to Damayanti and said, "I'm sorry I do not have much money with me."Deddy looked nervous.
"Do it,please. Come on," said the tourist again.
Finding that view Damayanti could not stand laughing. Deddy thought that "do it" here was the same as "duwit" in in Javanese meaning money in English.
